All adults are invited to join an adult Bible study that will be held on Tuesday evenings in June & early July. This Bible study will cover the five stories that the kids will learn at VBS: Creation, Elijah at Mt. Horeb, the woman at the well, a blind beggar in Jericho & the two disciples in Emmaus. The Bible study will meet on June 1, 15, 22, 29, & July 5 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the church Library.

The Kerygma Women’s Bible Study Circle will meet on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM beginning on September 9, 2010. Please join us this fall for the study of Kerygma: The Bible in Depth. This study focuses on the important messages of the Bible as a whole. For the 2010-2011 academic year we will be studying:
Theme 6: God’s People Have Rulers but One Sovereign
Theme 7: God Demands a Righteous People
Theme 8: God’s People Learn Wisdom
Theme 9: God’s People Worship
Theme 10: God’s People Have Hope

Dinner for 8 is a great way to connect with and get to know other members of the First Presbyterian family! We form groups of 8 people including couples and singles. Each month you plan a dinner at a group member’s home. The host provides the main course while the other attendees bring vegetables, salad and desert. The group then rotates to another member’s home the following month. Many times, group members prefer to meet at a local restaurant and go “Dutch”. This is perfectly acceptable!. The main purpose is to spend time with fellow church members in a different setting.
